Reported via mobile in the Pothole category by Georgina Hopps at 11:02, Wed 18 January 2023

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 4144254.

Very large pothole that burst my tyre and cause a large rip. Not a safe road to pull over on to take a photo. Can see this has been reported last April and nothing has been done as of yet. I can assume I am not the first and won’t be the last to get a burst tyre from this due to how deep this was which I could feel as my car bounced down in the road. Hoping this will be fixed soon as I have to drive down this road on a regular basis and this has already cost £185 for a new tyre

Updates

  • Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.

Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.

We are currently experiencing an increase in demand of reported issues along with a temporary reduction in available staff due to Covid-related sickness and self-isolation.

During this time and until the situation improves, we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.

    Thank you for your patience.
