Bradfield road footpath from pedestrian crossing to roundabout at smithy lane

Reported via mobile in the Footway category anonymously at 20:17, Monday 16 January 2023

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 4138072.

This footpath is a absolute disgrace it’s full of puddles the road is a disgrace it floods and then cars cover the pathway in water soaking whoever is walking past and as it’s the only route on foot or bicycle to the hospital and used regularly. If you walk it at night your footwear is filthy the grass verges want cutting back. The Money that’s being spent on all the new roads and pathways and you can’t look after the ones we already have . This pathway and road curb side flooding ect has been a problem for a number of years not just recently. The worst part is from the predestination crossing Bradfield road to the round about smithy / flowers lane .

Updates

  • Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.

Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.

We are currently experiencing an increase in demand of reported issues along with a temporary reduction in available staff due to Covid-related sickness and self-isolation.

During this time and until the situation improves, we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.

    Thank you for your patience.
