119 Hassall Road

Reported via desktop in the Pothole category anonymously at 12:29, Saturday 14 January 2023

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 4127826.

A large pot hole large enough to cause damage to a car tyre, wheel or suspension. Large enough to damage a motorcycle or cause traffic to swerve. Large enough to damage a cycle and cause the rider to swerve. I have to drive in the centre of the road to avoid. This has been repaired with a spoon full of tarmac four times before. Go on why don't you treat us to a proper repair so I don't have to ask you again in three weeks when it fails again.

Updates

  • Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.

Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.

We are currently experiencing an increase in demand of reported issues along with a temporary reduction in available staff due to Covid-related sickness and self-isolation.

During this time and until the situation improves, we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.

    Thank you for your patience.
