Orchard Cottage, Goostrey Lane, Twemlow Green, CW4 8BH

Reported via desktop in the Pothole category anonymously at 11:06, Friday 13 January 2023

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 4123386.

Hi there, the road surface outside my property has failed, causing excessive water pooling in the rain, and mud on the road. It has failed in 2 places, outside my entrance driveway, and a smaller patch at the road grid midway along my property front, again causing rainwater to pool and not drain away properly. It is a failure of the tarmac surface layer, so the underneath is mud. Please can CEC Highways put this on your list of patches to sort, and do please knock on at Orchard Cottage so I can have a chat with the Highways Engineer. Many thanks. Dave Johnson

Updates

  • Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.

Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.

We are currently experiencing an increase in demand of reported issues along with a temporary reduction in available staff due to Covid-related sickness and self-isolation.

During this time and until the situation improves, we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.

    Thank you for your patience.
