Council Bollards ripped out and taken away.

Reported via desktop in the Fencing/Walls category anonymously at 14:37, Wed 11 January 2023

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 4114702.

Around 2 years someone removed the concrete bollards that the council installed there to stop this passage being used as a "rat run". Cars are now using this "road" as a cut through between Oxford Street and Underwood Lane, its becoming dangerous with cars going up and down there and turning the whole passage into a mud bath. The concrete bollards should really be re-instated as per the map in order to stop it being used by cars a cut through- accident waiting to happen.

  • Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.

Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.

We are currently experiencing an increase in demand of reported issues along with a temporary reduction in available staff due to Covid-related sickness and self-isolation.

During this time and until the situation improves, we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.

    Thank you for your patience.
