Outside no. 9 Holly Road
Reported via desktop in the Flooding category anonymously at 08:24, Wednesday 11 January 2023
Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 4112457.
The drainage grid is completely blocked, causing localised flooding whenever it rains. Yesterday, in heavy rain, an extended section of footpath was submerged, causing scores of pedestrians/school students to cross/walk in the road in poor driving visibility conditions. This constitutes a health and safety risk and could lead to an accident. All grids from this point heading east are also fully blocked at present.

Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.
Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.
We are currently experiencing an increase in demand of reported issues along with a temporary reduction in available staff due to Covid-related sickness and self-isolation.During this time and until the situation improves, we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.
Thank you for your patience.
