Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 4062969.
Last night around 7pm in the dark and the rain luckily going slowly we hit pothole which burst tyre and bent alloy. Car was not drivable and had to be left on side of road until this morning. Had to call a taxi to get children home as one child is diabetic. Very dangerous and only lucky I wasn’t driving quickly. Please fix these potholes before something worse happens.

Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.
Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.
We are currently experiencing an increase in demand of reported issues along with a temporary reduction in available staff due to Covid-related sickness and self-isolation.During this time and until the situation improves, we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.
Thank you for your patience.
