Opposite 26 swan close

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 4037603.
There is huge tree (taller than the houses around) on this small piece of grass which is far too large for the area it is in. The roots are destroying the footpath which is now a huge trip hazard, the grass area is extremely uneven because of the roots no breaking up the ground which is starting to lift the pavement edges. To add to the issues above the tree is blocking all streetlighting from the pavement so it is adding to the trip hazards. The tree needs to be removed before the birds start nesting and the surrounding ground repaired to prevent a potential serious injury to one of the older residents of the area.

Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.
Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.
We are currently experiencing an increase in demand of reported issues along with a temporary reduction in available staff due to Covid-related sickness and self-isolation.During this time and until the situation improves, we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.
Thank you for your patience.
