Pavement in between Charlie’s & the Red Lion.

Reported via mobile in the Uneven Flags category anonymously at 13:06, Sat 3 December 2022

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 4012488.

Uneven/dip in stone work. Closest to the road side. See attached pics. Difficult to see when walking due to size/style of the flags. Almost camouflaged. Caused me to take quite a tumble. Into the road. Whilst pushing a pram. Incredibly dangerous on a very busy road. Rolled my ankle. Grazed my shin. Damaged my (flat) leather boots.

  • Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.

Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.

We are currently experiencing an increase in demand of reported issues along with a temporary reduction in available staff due to Covid-related sickness and self-isolation.

During this time and until the situation improves, we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.

    Thank you for your patience.
