Hollin Lane flooded again near to 18 Hollin Lane on 21.11.22
Reported via desktop in the Flooding category anonymously at 20:24, Sun 27 November 2022
Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3997942.
Where Hollin Lane is close to Rossendale Brook, every time we get heavy rain, the road floods. It was very deep on 21.11.22. Please could we have a permanent fix to the problem. It disrupts traffic as the depth of water means cars have to go slowly through in single file. Thanks

Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.
Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.
We are currently experiencing an increase in demand of reported issues along with a temporary reduction in available staff due to Covid-related sickness and self-isolation.During this time and until the situation improves, we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.
Thank you for your patience.
