Action scheduled
Outside Vine Hop, Chester Road at the junction with A523 London Road at the start of the pedestrian crossing area crossing from Vine Hop towards the church
Reported via mobile in the Pothole category anonymously at 18:09, Sat 26 November 2022
Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3996027.
The road sub structure has collapsed causing the brick pavers to sink which has caused a 50mm step on the pedestrian crossing area which is a trip hazard. Someone could fall in the road and be run over. A bodged repair has been carried out previously by shovelling in some tarmac but that has now come out. Please carry out a proper repair once and for all and stop wasting our taxes on repeat work.

Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.
Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.
We are currently experiencing an increase in demand of reported issues along with a temporary reduction in available staff due to Covid-related sickness and self-isolation.During this time and until the situation improves, we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.
Thank you for your patience.
