Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3995723.

The closure of Chelford Road has resulted in a great many more vehicles using Foden Lane. It has also resulted in many accidents and cars are often travelling up the bankings to avoid other cars. The result is that many of the road drains are now covered in soils from the cars which have been mounting the banks. I have cleared the grid but find it's blocked.

  • Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.

Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.

We are currently experiencing an increase in demand of reported issues along with a temporary reduction in available staff due to Covid-related sickness and self-isolation.

During this time and until the situation improves, we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.

    Thank you for your patience.
