No right turn sign incorrectly placed
Reported via desktop in the Street Name Plates category anonymously at 15:28, Thu 24 November 2022
Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3990724.
On A556 opposite the end of Flittogate Lane Tabley, the No Right Turn sign should be facing back towards J19 roundabout indicating no turn INTO Flittogate Lane Off the A 556, instead it’s indicating no right turn OUT of Flittogate Lane towards Northwich. The no right turn into Flittogate Lane has been in place for some years as there is no pull in area out of the traffic to do this safely. It is extremely dangerous, with the potential for a serious, if not fatal accident.

Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.
Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.
We are currently experiencing an increase in demand of reported issues along with a temporary reduction in available staff due to Covid-related sickness and self-isolation.During this time and until the situation improves, we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.
Thank you for your patience.
