Sandbach Road South

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3985308.

Extreme flooding across road, particularly bad after rain. Footpath not passable, road flooded completely across its width for about 10m. Dangerous driving/cars skidding in water is a danger to pedestrians, mostly children walking to/from school. Flood has almost reached train tracks and cars are often backed up across the tracks, unaware they would have to stop there as flood is not visible until they round the corner. I imagine cars will be getting damaged, accidents will occur and I expect people will hold the council liable as nothing is being done to fix this now long-standing problem despite council being aware of it for months. Immediate action required please.
