Mill lane

Reported via desktop in the Pothole category anonymously at 16:11, Wed 16 November 2022

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3968113.

There are several huge and deep pot holes on the side of the road on both sides. These are repeat offenders. There is also crumbling of the side of the road towards Holmes Chapel. These pot holes need addressing urgently as they are impossible to see before coming upon them as they on bends. Mill lane is a country lane, unlit. Perhaps doing a proper job of addressing this issue, third time lucky, might be more economical for the council rather than simply filling it with coco pops as appears to have been what has been done previously.

  • Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.

Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.

We are currently experiencing an increase in demand of reported issues along with a temporary reduction in available staff due to Covid-related sickness and self-isolation.

During this time and until the situation improves, we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.

    Thank you for your patience.
