Free Green Lane, Lower Peover. Opposite Wydders Barn
Reported via desktop in the Flooding category anonymously at 13:50, Wed 2 November 2022
Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3932980.
Road consistency floods here. 2 years ago a young girl drove through the hedge due to ice on road. We don't want a repeat. The drain appears blocked which in turn appears to be blocking a septic tank so there is a foul smell.

Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.
Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.
We are currently experiencing an increase in demand of reported issues along with a temporary reduction in available staff due to Covid-related sickness and self-isolation.During this time and until the situation improves, we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.
Thank you for your patience.

As initial jetting has not resolved the problem we need to carry out further jetting work at this location. We have added it to our online jetting list, which you can find online through the link below. Once we have programmed the work it will appear on our online upcoming jetting schedule, which we update on a weekly basis. The list shows the schedule for up to 2 weeks in advance. The schedule is usually updated weekly so you may not see your location immediately, and changes might be made if we need to prioritise work due to emergencies or weather events. The investigation we have done so far has identified that we need to carry out more work to either better understand or resolve this problem. We have added this location to our drainage improvement programme list, which you can access online through the following link: https://www.cheshireeast.gov.uk/ highways_and_roads/ road-maintenance/ gullies-and-drains.aspx
