Outside 4 Albert Road, Wilmslow, SK95HT

Reported via mobile in the Gully/Drainage category anonymously at 12:24, Sun 16 October 2022

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3892941.

There is flooding directly outside our house due to blocked drainage on Albert Road. Cars passing regularly are not slowing down and severely splashing our electric gate and wall. Our electric gate has now stopped working due to water damage and the gate itself won’t close which is dangerous for our 3 children coming in and out of the house / car. The issue has been like this for over 2 weeks now, and has been reported several times. The situation has progressed from an annoyance to now actually damaging our property. Please can someone attend urgently to unblock the drains to prevent the situation getting even worse. Thank you

  • Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.

Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.

We are currently experiencing an increase in demand of reported issues along with a temporary reduction in available staff due to Covid-related sickness and self-isolation.

During this time and until the situation improves, we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.

    Thank you for your patience.
