Priority right of way sign not visible
Reported via mobile in the Conditions of Signs category anonymously at 17:50, Fri 14 October 2022
Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3890742.
The sign for right of way for the single lane bridge on Cross Lane, going up towards Minshull Vernon, cannot be seen at all. It is overgrow by the hedge that it is located next too.
Anyone unfamiliar with the area, will not know that this is a right of way bridge and could easily cause an accident, especially as it is so busy at the moment, with the closer of Middlewich Road.
The hedge requires a really good cutting back or the sign moving.

Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.
Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.
We are currently experiencing an increase in demand of reported issues along with a temporary reduction in available staff due to Covid-related sickness and self-isolation.During this time and until the situation improves, we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.
Thank you for your patience.
