Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3863861.
The path is completely covered by the hedge needs cutting back. This is a danger to elderly people who are walking on wet grass and mud because the path is completely covered by the hedge. This path is also used by School children Who use the bus for school. People should not have to get covered in mud just to walk to work or school. People in a wheelchair do not stand a chance getting past this edge. Please can it be cut back and tidy up.
Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.
Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.
We are currently experiencing an increase in demand of reported issues along with a temporary reduction in available staff due to Covid-related sickness and self-isolation.
During this time and until the situation improves, we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.
Thank you for your patience.
