Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3859267.
Ref: 3449331 - Name, Tim. As they are dragging the maze to another farm, why can't they drive across the paddock to Buerton Hall (same owners) and travel through the farm yard which would clear their tyres? There is no reason to have this amount of mess on the road. And it is raining. And people die with mud on the road. The Bradford gov website says: 'Do everything possible to prevent mud being deposited on the road. This includes cleaning mud from vehicles, as far as practicable, before they are taken onto the road. The fact that the cleaning of mud off vehicles, tractors and their attachments is commercially inconvenient is not a defence. '
No attempt is made to clear mud from tyres. To make matters worse, it is now raining. This is easy to solve if you make them. The field opposite will create the same problem. They can still go into the yard to clear tyres. They would then only have to CROSS the road. I see no reason why they get away with this EVERY YEAR.

Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.
Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.
We are currently experiencing an increase in demand of reported issues along with a temporary reduction in available staff due to Covid-related sickness and self-isolation.During this time and until the situation improves, we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.
Thank you for your patience.
