Junction of Bleasdale Rd and Parkers Rd, Leighton, Crewe
Reported via mobile in the Hedge/Tree Maintenance category anonymously at 20:19, Tuesday 27 September 2022
Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later.
Council ref: 3853256.
Yet again, CEC have failed to maintain this overgrown hedge which it owns. It is now causing a serious danger to road users (particularly small cars) emerging from Bleasdale Rd as the oncoming traffic to the right is obscured. This requires emerging drivers to cross over the Give Way road markings on Bleasdale Rd to ensure they can see.
Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.
Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.
We are currently experiencing an increase in demand of reported issues along with a temporary reduction in available staff due to Covid-related sickness and self-isolation.
During this time and until the situation improves, we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.
Thank you for your patience.

We have assessed your report and arranged to carry out work. We will not schedule any work during the bird nesting season - which runs from February to August – unless the location is causing a danger. We might have to delay our work if there is bad weather.
State changed to: In progress
