Dangerous uneven pavement

Reported via desktop in the Uneven Flags category anonymously at 15:22, Friday 23 September 2022

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3844212.

The entire pavement along Adlington Road is shocking. It is a mash up of tarmac and flags but it's like a rollercoaster. Lots of loose flags and grids sticking up causing trip hazards. Surrounding roads have all been dug up and re-surfaced and they were all absolutely fine. This path is just dangerous. Due to the tree's, this pavement gets covered in leaves which makes walking even worse with uneven footings. Outside number 53 there is a bulk of tarmac, if you are not aware of it being there, it will cause injury.

  • Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.

Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.

We are currently experiencing an increase in demand of reported issues along with a temporary reduction in available staff due to Covid-related sickness and self-isolation.

During this time and until the situation improves, we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.

    Thank you for your patience.
