Hi there, so for a while now there has been a lorry coming along moss lane Macclesfield ( we live at 215) at 3/ 4am every day which shakes the house that bad it wakes people up! The lorry is one of the biggest there is and I am sure it’s to big for the road! Somebody told me there was a weight restriction on the rd but I cannot find that any where! What are the solutions as it isn’t great for the houses to be shaken that much!

Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.
Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.
We are currently experiencing an increase in demand of reported issues along with a temporary reduction in available staff due to Covid-related sickness and self-isolation.During this time and until the situation improves, we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.
Thank you for your patience.

We have assessed the issue and included it in the repair and improvement programme for this financial year. While we make every effort to keep to the programme, it can sometimes change to stay within the available budget. You can find more details of the work programmed for this location on our website: https://www.cheshireeast.gov.uk/ highways_and_roads/ road-maintenance/ road-repair-and-improvement-programme-2021-2022/ road-repair-and-improvement-programme-2021-2022.aspx
