Dangerous, distracting advertising signs.

Reported via desktop in the Street Name Plates category anonymously at 17:16, Thursday 22 September 2022

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3842083.

I have previously reported Bolesworth Estate in Cheshire for erecting temporary advertising signs all over Cheshire East. Despite receiving a reply stating they had been removed, in truth, they have not and are still in situ and have in fact multiplied! They have been moved a few yards off the roundabout and onto a fence in Rotherham road now! There are also more on other nearby roundabouts.

It is my understanding that temporary advertising signs for profit should not be put on Cheshire East roads (see my screenshot taken from your website). These signs are dangerous and distracting for drivers. I have personally witnessed people slamming on their brakes to read these signs on both of the roundabouts in my attached screenshots. They will cause an accident. It is only a matter of time before they do. Please, please, please can the council act before someone is seriously hurt because someone has swerved across lanes and braked suddenly to view these monstrous signs!

Thank you.
