Charity lane / hacked way lane

Reported via desktop in the Pothole category anonymously at 17:51, Wednesday 21 September 2022

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3839696.

Multiple pot holes and roas washed away by previously reported problems with the blocked culvert on hacked way lane by the forest. Water constantly running down the lane and washing away areas of road excacerbated by winter conditions. Ive already reported this and met with CEC rep. The culvert needs fixing urgently before winter or we will be unable to get out when it freezes and snow plough will be unable to get down. This is our only exit route and is also needed to remain clear for emergency vehicle access to the forest in case of accident / fire. Thanks

  • Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.

Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.

We are currently experiencing an increase in demand of reported issues along with a temporary reduction in available staff due to Covid-related sickness and self-isolation.

During this time and until the situation improves, we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.

    Thank you for your patience.
