Turning into Alderley Park at the north entrance, the damaged sign is on the left hand side on the pavement.
Reported via desktop in the Conditions of Signs category anonymously at 14:08, Tue 20 September 2022
Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3836117.
The sign was hit by a stolen car on Sunday 18th September at just after 11am (driver arrested by the police). The sign directional sign for 'Alderley Park North' and 'Alderley Park Conference Centre' was knocked over, damaging the two metal standing posts and slightly bending the sign which was knocked off the posts. The sign has been put at the back of the adjacent shrub border and may possibly be fit to reuse, but the metal standing posts will need replacing.

Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.
Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.
We are currently experiencing an increase in demand of reported issues along with a temporary reduction in available staff due to Covid-related sickness and self-isolation.During this time and until the situation improves, we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.
Thank you for your patience.
