What can I say - do you honestly think this shoddy work is acceptable - give it a few weeks and it will just be as bad - the workmanship is appalling!!
From oak road towards and including station road and this end of Dixon drive (the most used pavements in Chelford) are the most neglected- they haven’t been resurfaced in 30 years yet you ignore this end time and time again - we never have road sweepers, pavement sweepers, drain clearers and thus isn’t before I mention the road and it’s countless pot holes - we are ignored constantly….. this area of Chelford has the highest footfall and the highest footfall with disabled and elderley yet you are prepared to wait and let falls and injuries to happen

Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.
Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.
We are currently experiencing an increase in demand of reported issues along with a temporary reduction in available staff due to Covid-related sickness and self-isolation.During this time and until the situation improves, we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.
Thank you for your patience.

We deal with defects based on the level of immediate risk. We have assessed the issue and it does not present an immediate risk to highway users at this time. As the problem you have reported is not causing an immediate safety issue we will now look at the best long- term approach for this location. We keep all roads and highway assets safe through our routine inspections. If anything is identified as a risk during a future inspection, we will take action to deal with it as appropriate.
State changed to: No further action
