Albion Lock Sandbach CW113PY

Reported via desktop in the Zebra Crossing category anonymously at 13:20, Thursday 15 September 2022

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3827563.

I newly move in to Ablion Lock this development, I found there is something need to be improved as following points: —

1. no bus stop sign at the bus stop station, sometimes bus driver will run over the stop.

2. No zebra crossing or traffic light to help passengers to cross this busy road, many cars come from both sides, it’s dangerous especially for elderly people or young kids or any parents they are using baby trolley at the same time holding hand with a little kid.

3. The pavement is very uneven and full of little rocks, that’s easy to trip off.

4. The hedge along the pavement is untrimmed and full of sharp thorns, that’s increase difficulty for pedestrians to walk pass in a narrow busy road, especially with baby trolley.

Please check which party is responsible for this, for safety and convenience reasons, I wish it can be solved as soon as possible.

Accident will be happened sooner or later!

Your prompt reply will be highly appreciated! Best regards, Eva

  • Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.

Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.

We are currently experiencing an increase in demand of reported issues along with a temporary reduction in available staff due to Covid-related sickness and self-isolation.

During this time and until the situation improves, we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.

    Thank you for your patience.
