Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3823418.
There is an ongoing problem of vehicles driving part on the pavement part on the road in search of a parking space also delivery vans doing the same thing while only part looking at the road in front and part looking for delivery address out of their side windows This problem has been going on for several years but has become worse since covid and the increase of delivery vans Evidence of pavement driving destroying the pavements can clearly be seen The usual irritating outcomes of pavement parking are here in abundance eg parking on the hill down to Deva Close, parking on the corner at the bottom of the hill, blocking drives to name three I don’t understand why the hill has no double yellow lines it is not dissimilar to Merton and Distaff up Chester Road from here Pavement driving should have no place in an inhabited area typically with elderly and/or infirm adults, children playing and parents having to go onto the road with pushchairs to avoid While this goes on there is also problems with delivery vans speeding down the road

Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.
Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.
We are currently experiencing an increase in demand of reported issues along with a temporary reduction in available staff due to Covid-related sickness and self-isolation.During this time and until the situation improves, we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.
Thank you for your patience.
