1 Radcliffe road wheelock cw113lt

Reported via mobile in the Hedge/Tree Maintenance category anonymously at 14:00, Mon 12 September 2022

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3819667.

We have had to get Astra tree services Alsager to look at the tree due to danger to life and the report says a large cavity in the main stem and some other cavity’s has deemed the tree dangerous and as in immediate danger of snapping out .you can see daylight through and up the main trunk branches . Sharon from Astra tree services has shown the pictures to Gary Newson tree inspector cheshire east who also says the tree needs to come down immediately . If this tree falls it’s straight onto the footpath and also our property of my self and neighbour as it splits into two . The footpath also at the front has lifted with large roots lifting the tarmac in which is a hazard in it self . Thus tree is maintained by cheshire east and I don’t see why we should foot the bill to removed this unsafe tree but to avoid a serious incident am willing to contribute . Can some body contact myself immediately tel 07904617361 . Kind regards Mrs Lawrence

Updates

  • Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.

Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.

We are currently experiencing an increase in demand of reported issues along with a temporary reduction in available staff due to Covid-related sickness and self-isolation.

During this time and until the situation improves, we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.

    Thank you for your patience.
