Alderley Park traffic light junction on A34

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3810305.

Timing of lights needs addressing to reduce queues on the south bound A34 at afternoon peak times. Over the last 2 days (schools are back) at 5:30 to 6:00pm, there have been 6 to 8 minute queues, covering more than half the length of the bypass, all waiting on these lights. On each occasion traffic leaving Alderley Park has been completely emptied.
