Outside 108 main road

Reported via mobile in the Gully/Drainage category anonymously at 17:22, Wednesday 7 September 2022

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3810176.

The rain doesn't go down the grids but floods causing damage to drives . I cannot leave my house as the water comes into my car over the sill of the door . This happens after a comparatively small amount of rain. People can't see where the pavement ends and are having to walk in the road getting drenched by cars speeding through the flood. If it rains at school time, this happens to the children getting off the school bus.

Updates

  • Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.

Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.

We are currently experiencing an increase in demand of reported issues along with a temporary reduction in available staff due to Covid-related sickness and self-isolation.

During this time and until the situation improves, we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.

    Thank you for your patience.
