Council ref: 3809524.
The street lights , area as mentioned above , have been out as of a week ago today . This is a continuous ongoing problem . Access to a retirement apartment complex and public foot path accessed from Macclesfield Road is very dangerous as the nights are drawing in , by 8 pm it’s dark and due to the very large overhanging trees visibility is nil, completely pitch black.
Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.
Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.
We are currently experiencing an increase in demand of reported issues along with a temporary reduction in available staff due to Covid-related sickness and self-isolation.
During this time and until the situation improves, we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.
Thank you for your patience.
