Sound lane

Reported via desktop in the Footway category anonymously at 23:09, Tuesday 30 August 2022

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3791509.

No footpath for children to walk to school from the houses down sound lane to the entrance of the car park at sound school. The road comes off from a very busy A road - Whitchurch road. Many school children have to walk on the road to access the school car park gates if walking from the direction of sound heath to the school. This poses a danger to life for the parents and their children when not using the car. As we are now in a cost of living crisis it would be beneficial to walk children to and from school without the threat of being involved in an RTC and children being killed. The school also walk/cycle children from the school to sound common, which again poses a danger to life. If there was a foot way danger to life would be less. Currently the side of the road is overgrown with hedges. If these were cut back a footpath could easily be installed on the road leading to the school.
