Dorset Close dropped kerbs
Reported via mobile in the Footway category by Cllr Suzie Akers Smith at 15:31, Tue 30 August 2022
Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3781074.
Recently the pavement on Dorset Close was resurfaced. Dropped kerbs are needed because of the number of elderly residents who use mobility aids need them to get around. When was the work to resurface the pavements approved? Who asked for the work to be done? Why have dropped kerbs not been included in the plan for resurfacing to make the pavement accessible?

Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.
Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.
We are currently experiencing an increase in demand of reported issues along with a temporary reduction in available staff due to Covid-related sickness and self-isolation.During this time and until the situation improves, we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.
Thank you for your patience.
