Opposite Houses 60-80 Kendal Road

Reported via mobile in the Hedge/Tree Maintenance category anonymously at 20:37, Tue 23 August 2022

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3776186.

Today a large branch fell off a tree on Kendal Road, thankfully I was at work otherwise it would of landed where I park my car. Luckily no one was hurt. The trees are extremely tall and the branches are becoming low hanging over the road and pavement. Due to having no winds I expect a lorry, bus or tractor have caught the branch and it’s snapped off. Passers by have removed the branch from the road it’s it’s on the pavement. Please can someone look at maintaining the trees and verges both opposite 60-80 Kendal Road and also the trees outside these houses. These trees also have low hanging branches and are leaning. I have had to trim some of these branches as they were leaning on my car and obstructing me being able to get my disabled daughter into the car safely.

Updates

  • Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.

Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.

We are currently experiencing an increase in demand of reported issues along with a temporary reduction in available staff due to Covid-related sickness and self-isolation.

During this time and until the situation improves, we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.

    Thank you for your patience.
