Blocked road drain / gully trap at 203 Hurdsfield Road, Macclesfield

The gully trap outside 203 Hurdsfield Road, Macclesfield, was previously reported as blocked on 16 August 2022. The online gully tracker shows that this gully #790041860 '41861' is now scheduled for August 2024. It was worked on today (Tuesday 23rd August 2022) by a CEC contractor (Dodson) about 13:15. When I walked past at about 13:45, the water level was flush with the top of the grating. When I walked past later at about 15:50, the water had gradually soaked away to reveal that the trap was still silted up to just below the grating, as shown in the attached photograph. Whatever work was done was not sufficient to clear the blockage and therefore the contractor needs to return sooner rather than later to carry out remedial work.
