Bollards missing AGAIN !!!!

Reported via desktop in the Conditions of Signs category by Brian Rogers at 14:28, Mon 15 August 2022

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3755435.

As reported on numerous previous occasions the bollards installed on the abnormal load pull are missing again. I have no idea how they become unscrewed or where they go or by whom. But I do know it is happening frequently. They need to be replaced by key operated bollards. ASAP. I will take this up with councillors because you are failing to rectify this issue.

  • Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.

Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.

We are currently experiencing an increase in demand of reported issues along with a temporary reduction in available staff due to Covid-related sickness and self-isolation.

During this time and until the situation improves, we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.

    Thank you for your patience.
