Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3753437.
Still having issues with the road surface, noise and vibration. We have reported this on several occasions. You have been out to repair part of the road surface which has been patched up where a pot hole was forming however as previously reported the section of road from 100-108 needs resurfacing. The section of road particularly outside 104 (as pictured) has a obvious trench ground into it and this is very obvious when using a straight edge and measure as in the picture which shows the depth of 40mm in the trench that is consistent along the section of road, the second picture shows the section of road further up which had been resurfaced a few years ago and this is virtually level adjacent to the kerb when using a straight edge. The noise from the heavy goods traffic along with the vibration shakes the house when they are driving over this section which disturbs our families sleep daily affecting our mental health from 4am. Previously you have said that someone has been and inspected this and no action is required but from research as the measurements show this is something that does meet the requirements to be resurfaced.

Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.
Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.
We are currently experiencing an increase in demand of reported issues along with a temporary reduction in available staff due to Covid-related sickness and self-isolation.During this time and until the situation improves, we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.
Thank you for your patience.
