Vehicle Access to Flats A-G, 12 Hightown, Middlewich

Reported via desktop in the Lining category anonymously at 16:30, Friday 12 August 2022

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3750178.

The existing white line markings to stop vehicles parking aren't sufficient. There are now 7 flats which are fully occupied by residents with cars in this block. This is their only vehicle access and it it constantly blocked by cars. The occupiers have often had to wait for car owners to return before they can leave the property. Brighter markings are needed as the existing ones are no longer evident. We, the owners have erected keep clear signs but these are ignored. The property was empty for a number of years but has been renovated so the new tenants are frustrated by this problem.

Updates

  • Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.

Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.

We are currently experiencing an increase in demand of reported issues along with a temporary reduction in available staff due to Covid-related sickness and self-isolation.

During this time and until the situation improves, we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.

    Thank you for your patience.
