All along the A533 after Middlewich

Reported via desktop in the Carriageway category anonymously at 15:03, Fri 12 August 2022

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3749926.

Can I ask why the council uses small stones to cover road surface then just leaves it? I was driving carefully today so not to throw up stones then someone blasted past my car throwing everything up hitting my car. If you are going to use stupid stones then why not temp cameras until the surface is finished? You use vehicles to flatten the stones don't you to save money? I have their number plate so what can I do?

Updates

  • Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.

Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.

We are currently experiencing an increase in demand of reported issues along with a temporary reduction in available staff due to Covid-related sickness and self-isolation.

During this time and until the situation improves, we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.

    Thank you for your patience.
