The old stone bridge is needing repair AGAIN! Wagons need to stop using this road as it’s too tight, they keep knocking the stones down, I’m guessing the road is due to be shut to repair the wall again? It needs a crash barrier putting up to protect the wall on the bridge, like a motorway crash barrier, and signs need putting up at either end of the road to warm lorry drivers it’s too narrow, as this keeps happening, how much it must cost each time as well. Thank you
Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.
Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.
We are currently experiencing an increase in demand of reported issues along with a temporary reduction in available staff due to Covid-related sickness and self-isolation.
During this time and until the situation improves, we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.
Thank you for your patience.
