The pavement and road is covered to some depth (at least 12 cm) with debris (seed cases) from the Lime Trees along the edge of the park. These case are tinder dry and pose a considerable fire risk to vehicles and adjacent houses. It would only take a discarded cigarette to ignite the debris and set fire to vehicles parked in the road and put the terraced housing at risk. PLEASE TAKE ACTION IMMEDIATLY TO RERMOVE THIS HAZARD.

Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.
Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.
We are currently experiencing an increase in demand of reported issues along with a temporary reduction in available staff due to Covid-related sickness and self-isolation.During this time and until the situation improves, we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.
Thank you for your patience.
