Bollards missing again!
Reported via desktop in the Conditions of Signs category by Brian Rogers at 11:30, Mon 4 July 2022
Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3645944.
There are about 5 bollards missing from the recently installed bollards on the abnormal load pull on Holmes Chapel Road at its junction with Melton Drive. This occurs regularly I have no idea why? This morning a lorry had pulled into the gap and blocked the view when trying to exit Melton Drive. Exactly the reason we campaigned for so long to have them installed. I now seem to spend hours reporting that they are missing. Why can you not intsall bollards that are not so easily removed?

Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.
Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.
We are currently experiencing an increase in demand of reported issues along with a temporary reduction in available staff due to Covid-related sickness and self-isolation.During this time and until the situation improves, we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.
Thank you for your patience.
