Narrow verge west of the Padgbury Lane highway on edge of new Seddon Homes development site
Reported via desktop in the Weeds category by Gillian Kaloyeropoulos at 00:12, Thu 30 June 2022
Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later.
Council ref: 3635123.
Invasive non native species Himalayan Balsam growing along this stretch of CEC adopted highway verge and some in flower now. Illegal to allow this to grow and spread. It needs pulling before seeds are set. If not removed promptly it is at risk of spreading, for example to back gardens of residents living opposite.
Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.
Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.
We are currently experiencing an increase in demand of reported issues along with a temporary reduction in available staff due to Covid-related sickness and self-isolation.
During this time and until the situation improves, we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.
Thank you for your patience.
