Action scheduled
Along Middlewich Street Crewe, on the left hand side of the road just before the crossing, outside 32/34 Middlewich Street.
Reported via desktop in the Pothole category by Hazel Faddes at 23:17, Sun 26 June 2022
Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3625149.
The road here is severely cracked and visibly dips enough to cause vehicles to bounce over. Cyclists are most in danger as they are forced to swerve due to the number, depth and width of these cracks. This could be a sign that not all is well with the sewerage system here and UU may need to be contacted.

Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.
Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.
We are currently experiencing an increase in demand of reported issues along with a temporary reduction in available staff due to Covid-related sickness and self-isolation.During this time and until the situation improves, we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.
Thank you for your patience.
