Inadequate road markings to indicate traffic should take a sharp left turn

Inadequate road markings and signs to indicate that traffic travelling on Bollin Hill should follow the road to the left when leaving the estate for macclesfield road. This means that vehicles are travelling in a straight line, cutting across the flow of traffic into Bollin Way. In the attached diagram vehicles should follow the black line but are travelling in a straight line following the red line. Having witnessed this on multiple occasions there is a real danger to life especially to children who cycle from Broad Walk onto Bollin Hill. I suggest that road markings need to be added and repainted. This should include dotted centre lines around the bend extending well into both roads. Signs should be added to Bollin hill showing a sharp bend to the left. Road junction markings on Bollin Way need to be refreshed on the junction.

Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.
Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.
We are currently experiencing an increase in demand of reported issues along with a temporary reduction in available staff due to Covid-related sickness and self-isolation.During this time and until the situation improves, we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.
Thank you for your patience.
