On Altrincham Road - past the kings road junction as you head towards wilmslow

Reported via desktop in the Noise or Vibration category anonymously at 08:15, Mon 20 June 2022

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3608628.

There are 2 big issues on Altrincham road within 20 metres of each other. One at the intersection with Kings road and this other one a few metres down. The one at kings road 'looks' like its going to be fixed as there are road markings down around the area that is in need of repair. the picture attached is of the second major problem that needs addressing. The picture doesnt do it justice - but its over 5 metres long. I appreciate that it may not be the depth needed to flag this as an issue - the length is the problem. When an lorry drives down my house shakes to such a degree that things have started to fall from shelves. This might sound like an exaggeration but id welcome you to come to my house and see it. I was hoping that whilst the first issue at Kings road was being fixed this would be tended too as well. Ive gone past caring about the damage this is doing to my house (My tiled floor is cracked, there's a brick coming out my garage wall, there are cracks in plaster in every room!!) id just like to be able to make sure my family can sleep again. The mental anguish from this issue with the road is quite depressing.

Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.

We are currently experiencing an increase in demand of reported issues along with a temporary reduction in available staff due to Covid-related sickness and self-isolation.

During this time and until the situation improves, we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.
