I have reported the problem with this tree at least twice before and the latest from you was: We have assessed your report and have arranged to carry out work as soon as possible. State changed to: Action scheduled Cheshire East Council Yet another branch has been dragged down by a car driving around the avenue which we have put on the grass verge. Are you waiting for the whole tree to be pulled down by passing vehicles to save money? Small branches are also falling from the tree onto our driveway and I am unhappy that this might cause my husband, who has mobility issues, to fall and potentially injure himself.

Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.
Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.
We are currently experiencing an increase in demand of reported issues along with a temporary reduction in available staff due to Covid-related sickness and self-isolation.During this time and until the situation improves, we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.
Thank you for your patience.

We have assessed the issue and it needs to be inspected by a qualified arborist. The time it will take to carry out the inspection will depend on the priorities of the arborist. We will update your report once we have more information.
