Hello, I currently work and volunteer at Leighton Hospital Crewe, trying to "do my bit" I walk to and from the hospital. I'm a big chap over 6' 6" tall and around 20st when I get to the roundabout @ Smithy Lane & Minshull New Road Junction I encounter the only area of concern on my walk to and from, the hedge along Smithy Lane (in front of dwellings) pushes any pedestrian out into the road, given it's proximity to the Junction and the fact that if you are walking towards the hospital you have your back to oncoming traffic makes this quite a dangerous manoeuvre. I'd be over the moon if the hedges could be cut to an appropriate size.

Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.
Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.
We are currently experiencing an increase in demand of reported issues along with a temporary reduction in available staff due to Covid-related sickness and self-isolation.During this time and until the situation improves, we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.
Thank you for your patience.
